NF symposium in B.C.
| BCNF and NF Canada are hosting "A day in the life of NF1" on April 9 & 10 in Vancouver, B.C. Experet presenters are coming from France, Belgium, the United Kingdom, the United States and across Canada to share the latest information about research, treatments and the management of symptoms.

bi-annual meeting in Toronto
| Sunday May 2 at Radisson Hotel East in Toronto.Registration opens approx 9 am. Guest speakers include Dr A Guha - NF 2 research, Dr J Righter - dealing with a chronic illness, Randy Firth - CNIB, an employment consultant, P. Kernot - NF Canada update. This event will include a business meeting with elections to the board of directors. This is our kickoff to May NF awareness month. |

NF awarreness month
| May is NF awareness month. Considering hosting a May Tea party - the internationally recognized NF fundraiser. We will assist you with planning, covering costs, creating displays and soliciting support. Events are already in the process of being planned for Ottawa and Durham region. Watch for your May Tea party flyer coming soon. Literature and tea party invites will be available at the May 2 meeting in Toronto and/or we can arrange to send them to you. | In October, NFSO will become 25 years old. (The first official meeting was Oct 29, 1985.) We would like to put together some great celebrations.
